About

Cait, a lifelong educator and artist, received her master's degree in Classical Languages from the University of California Los Angeles in 2018 and her bachelor's in the same field from the University of Massachusetts Amherst in 2016. A passionate teutonophile, Cait also spent a semester studying Classics and German at the Albert Ludwigs Universität Freiburg in 2014. She has worked in the Classics and English departments at UCLA, UMass, and UCSanDiego, and chaired the Humanities Department for four years at a Central Massachusetts high school. Currently, she teaches adults at a community college to help them achieve their high school equivalency, while tutoring her favorite subjects at night.

When not teaching, Cait divides her free time between her painting studio, gaming station, or with her nose in a book– her darling little chihuahua, Mackerel, ever under-foot. Her favorite Latin expression is tempus frÅ«gis, given her love of all things sweet.
Our Mission
Cait's Academy is your premier online tutoring service specializing in languages and art: Latin, Ancient Greek, and German, as well as oil painting, watercolor painting, and illustration. A culmination of a wealth of knowledge and experience, Cait's Academy offers convenient online scheduling, flexible payment options, scholarships, and detailed student progress tracking. Our goal is to provide tailored support to enhance your learning journey and personal growth, while also inspiring you to play and create– after homework is done, of course.
